Today I was inspired by Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City and her first day in Paris, where she was breathlessly chasing a life with The Russian while trying in vain to forget about Big. Carrie was full of hope and wanted very much to fit in–kind of like every girl at her first job at the office.
In Carrie’s honor, I chose a similarly striped blue and white shirt with a pretty lace blue flower detail on the shoulder (she sure liked her giant flowers). To tone it down for the office, I picked my navy skirt from Plains and Prints and cinched in the waist with a thin brown heart-shaped belt. To cap off the floral theme, I finished with brown and denim floral wedges from Charles and Keith and my favorite little accessory, a bird ring from Yhansy.
